President Randy Hutchison called the July meeting of the
Wyoming Prospectors to order at 6:50 p.m. @ the June outing at Big Atlantic
Gulch.
Introductions were made as there were many new faces present.
Welcome to all the new members.
Secretary Kimberlee Raymond read the minutes from the
June Meeting. As there were no corrections needed, motions were made
and carried to approve the minutes as read.
Treasurer Deb Palmer read the treasurers report.
She reported on bills paid and deposits made. Motions were Correspondence:
Information on the University Outreach Snowy Range Non-profit
Institute available with Deb Palmer if anyone is interested.
Also, information from public Lands for the People on
a few items that had been in litigation that they had won. Claims Committee:
Nothing new to report. The amount of gold found
during the June outing was 8.2 grains which was added the the gold
recovered in the june meeting with amounted to about 8.6 grains.
Jim Hinesley also noted that a map to the Amanda 28 can
now be found on the web site for anyone who might need it.
Old Business/Officer Elections:
After all ballots counted, the new officers for the 2006-2007
year will be as follows:
President- Les Armstrong New Business:
Special thank you to the Dobbins for the wood boxes they
made and donated to the club as well as the time they spent making them
to store the tent and its poles. They fit perfectly and sure make things
look more organized.
Thanks to Ron Hawks for the T-shirts, the Jones' from
Ft Bridger for the electronic fly swatters donated for the raffle.
As well as the Jones' for the use of their mini back hoe for the outing.
Large thank you to everyone for all their hard work. The outing was
a large success and a lot of fun for everyone.
Next meeting will be held August 12, 2006 @ the lease
land at 4:00 p.m. The winner for the July 50/50 raffle was Evelyn Willenbrecht.

We had a great raffle of many wonderful items. Congrats
to all who won.
